Just for A Moment!

Hi community fam, just for One moment; today I'm tired of the -10 degrees chill factor outside in Philly and my muscles hurting, the contractor who canceled us (no explanation) and the exhaustion from taking down Christmas decorations. But it gets better, we only found out water was on the basement floor, when we went to store away the Christmas tree; "stack pipe" - cracked! There is good news to my story, even though I could tell I was trying to flare a bit...rest, prayers vitamins and the good Lord spared me the infusion (ordered) this time at least. So, just for a moment I needed to have a, "little pitty party" - then I realized I have more to be grateful for; the reality "praise checkpoint." Be safe and thanks for listening to me - happy faces needed today.

Hopefully you have water backup on your insurance policy! That will help pay for the damage!

Well, let me say this...God's Hand is probably; no is the best hands and not AllState lol. We pay for coverage and always have these loop holes/exclusions including our medical issues too.

ARGH!!! As an agent I always make sure, especially when people have a basement, to have backup of sewer & drain coverage. So sorry!

Sounds like you ae both mentally and physically stronger than you think! Hope the water situation gets resolved very soon. I don't think I would survive those cold temps.. You are amazing just to do that!🥶️🥶️Brrrr

Sorry you had those problems & it's ok to have a little putty party once in a while as long as you realize that's all it is like you did. I'm glad you were able to find a blessing in the midst of the storm & find the peace of Jesus.

In life we can’t sweat the small stuff. Keeping our eyes on the Big picture and how grateful we should be for what’s working in our life today. Praying all will be resolved soon🙏🏾

So many of us can relate! This is where we come for those brief moments of howling why me? Spring will come, reliable contractors (though rare) do exist, the stack pipe will get fixed, and the water will evaporate one way or another...and best of all, a flare didn't happen due to all the stress. Focus on the small miracle of that!
