Have you ever had a conversation with your legs? Today I wrote a letter to my legs thanking them for doing their job to the best of their ability. I know it sounds crazy but i have been so angry at my legs for not being... athletic shall we say? that i really thought about it in a different way. What do you want to say to YOUR legs?

Dear legs,
STOP freezing 🥶 up
I think that's actually a great idea! It's kind of like journaling. The letter is a place to work out your feelings and put down what you're grateful for. That's a win-win in my book! I'm also grateful that my legs do what they are supposed to do, for the most part🙂
Since the MS and a surgical stroke I have to talk to my right leg 🦵 all the time if I don’t it doesn’t move and down I go. It’s always in the back of my mind. Have to give it a really good talking to at times. It is the main cause of my injuries 😠😖🤨🤪😂😉👍🏼🐾🐾
I have called my bad leg bad names before.
I have also tried to kick my bad leg with my good leg and got a call from Micheal Flatley.

these legs are Really listening
if any of you have actually written to your legs and it's not too much trouble, I'd really like to read what you wrote. if you want, I'll share my letter too.
Dear legs, I’m sorry our brain thinks you’re broken and does nasty things to you, and I regret not knowing how to best take care of you when this started. Thanks for showing up every day, and please hang in there a while longer.
"why does my body hate itself?" your idea is probably healthier psychologically😀.
I fired my legs,but I can't find any replacements
I should do this more too. When I fell and broke my hip last December, I had to have surgery and a Titanium rod implanted during hip surgery. I joked to the surgeon, a very nice young woman, could she just cut my legs off too.🙃
She knew I had MS but not how progressive it's been and how severe. She was almost in shock by what I said because I guess she has had to amputate legs before. My last follow up with her she said she understands where I'm coming from as I'm now in a fancy power wheelchair that cost as much as a car. I still walk in my kitchen a few times every day with my old walker to try to keep up my strength as much as possible but I'm pretty much wheelchair bound now.
My spasticity is pretty bad too. I even failed the baclofen pump trial cause it just didn't help much if at all. Spasticity is why I always fell. Spasticity is why I cannot get up from the floor anymore if I fall. My spasticity seems untreatable.
I'd thank them for keeping me mobile, but I'd ask them to make up their minds about being icy or being on fire.
My left leg moves but my right leg says, "I am not moving today if I don't feel like it". I have to use a cane while I am inside but when I go out, I use my electric scooter and take off. 🛵
Stop growing hair!!! It's so hard to shave in the shower!
i don't understand miss legs. you were such a faithful friend for so long and so pretty...you left me with these crazy strangers!and not really attractive.😅
