It seems to take me longer to get over a cold/flu than it used to. I am just drained of energy when I get a cold. Hopefully you will be feeling better soon my friend.
Hah, are you trying to ignore MS while having a cold?! π€£ Get back in bed, because you're dreaming!π€£ Yes, it's super annoying being crippled by a little snot π
I don't remember what it's like to be normal and have a cold π€·ββοΈ Just clear your schedule and expectations for 2 weeks, and if you're functional sooner, hooray, you win! π
I had nonstop colds and sinus infections for the 18 months after my first Ocrevus infusion. Now, I seem to get them every single time I go to a store. Doesn't matter which one it is or how long I'm there. I never used to be like this.
Get better soon, Jesmcd2 ! Colds are the worst and you need to let it run itβs course. I try to get rid of it by sleeping with a Facial tissue box, and drinking plenty of fluids!
I donβt get colds. I get a cold sore, so I canβt really help you. What I do know is that antibiotics make ms into a monster. I have a UTI at the moment and my balance is way off, and no appetite. I hope you are soon feeling better, take care π€ππ¦π
Lately Iβve been saying βgive me a break!β One symptoms after another with a few good days peppered in between. My solution: breath and smile π
Yes, how about the return of the dreaded "ringing in the ears.' No one seems to have a clue? No rhyme or reason; best answer - MS it will gradually go away! The story of our lives right!!! Feel better my friend π Blessings always NeeC
Yes, thankfully the energy is creeping back home. The nose thinks its in the middle of allergy season, but beyond that pretty good. Thank you for asking!
I have Covid and knew something was wrong bc i had (more) difficulty walking. Anytime I have to fight off an infection my body goes on overdrive π«€ Hopefully youβll feel better soon π
follow up- my body hates the Covid boosters, so Covid landed me in the hospital for 5 days. The virus itself was just a irritation but my immune system that is already on overdrive reacted and I had to call EMS bc I become paralyzed. Fortunately the docs knew what to do and 5 days of steroid infusions got me back on my feet. Im home and still wobbly but on the road to recovery. Definitely going to mask up when I go to pt! π·
I have had a cold I just canβt shake - 4 weeks now. Getting better, but very slowly and itβs totally draining me. I hope you feel better very soon! β€οΈ
Speaking of colds, I have had one all week. This the first time I've gotten anythinging since I had Covid in Aug 2021. It is definately hard to get rid of. It's been trying to get down into my chest so it can turn into bronchitis but I am fighting it with everything I can. I hope everyone that has a cold gets over it soon!
in limboland here, but every time i get sick, it takes me 2-4 times as long to recover as the healthy people i know who contract it. i remember working about a year before i became permanently disabled. a coworker grimaced at my cough and demanded i take vitamins. i take a bunch now, but it still takes forever for my colds and viruses to go away.
Demanded? π€ π€£π hmm ok, l hope your dr is up to date on all your vitamins. And its very frustrating being sick forever, this l know! π€ππ
yep! i had an ex who got me sick once. he was ill for maybe 4 days and acted as if he were dying (manfluπ). when i got it i was sick for 3 weeks and went to work as scheduled. he asked me how i could possibly do it and i said, "i'm a woman."π
absolutely! how weirdit is that when i have a temperature my main pain sites are less because its an entire body thing. also why does my MS feel better after 3 weeks of antibiotics....? coricidenHBP...
