Hey, I'm new here, but I told my professor about my MS flare-up messing with my memory, and she's giving me leeway! 🎉

Hi Dominique..A big welcome to you! I also have the same issue with MS and memory. My memory issues are continuous. I applaud your professor for understanding. Many don't realize the effect MS has on our brains. I wish you well!
Hello welcome this is a great group!
G'day Dominique, welcome to the family, Beautiful french name. Good luck on your ms journey, get on a Disease-Modifying Therapy (DMT) sooner rather than later, my suggestion is Ocrevus, but I am NOT a doctor, especially your doctor..
welcome dominique! i was ill while at university and they have statutes protecting disabled students. you might want to look into policies that address accessibility and any modifications like paper/test scheduling. sometimes they also have groups where you can get together with other disabled students who understand.
Welcome to the group Dominique🙏🏾
Like I always say. "If you got, flaunt it!"Especially in a university setting they have to take ALL disabilities seriously, which they should.
Welcome! How wonderful it is that you have an understanding professor!
Welcome to the group, Dominique! I am so glad that you joined us. I worked at 2 different colleges/Universities after my MS diagnoses, for 30+ years. The Americans with Disabilities Act, to oversimplify, says that your school/workplace/etc., is required to make an reasonable effort to meet your needs. If your University has an office for special needs students, check there. If not, I would suggest the Registrar's Office, as they should know how/where to direct you. Good luck, and have a blessed day!
Welcome
