legally the drug company has to list every side effect of the drug "YOU" are prescribed. These side effects may OR MAY NOT affect "YOU", for example, Flu-like symptoms, what is this? It has been on most of the drugs that I have been given over the years. I am still not sure what it is. Do not expect horrible things to happen because they may not. Expect something to happen because these are very serious medicines "YOU" are ingesting, so expect some getting used to it. Do not take medicines on an empty stomach, drink lots of water.
This is a very survivable illness. just set your mind to doing the best for yourself.

Good reminder to be aware of your medications, why you are taking them, and their side effects. However, you should take them as prescribed by your medical team, and let them know if you have any issues with them. You are your own advocate.
when i had been doing the Avonex shots i would have the flu like feelings more days than not ...so i did not like that at all ...but not with any of the others that i have been on...all of us can feel differently than others for we are all different types of bodies so it can be different and if you are expecting something to happen i think you can think it too...just take and try to not think about it unless it is really bothersome to you ...i did feel sick for days so i knew something was wrong but the doctor told me to try it for a while and see if it gets better ....take care ...
