You got me thinking (which is rare as rocking horse shit these days lol)
Good points and post everyone!
I heard about ALA from the Barts website, and when the rolled in glass/paddling in icy water/Irish dancing blood fest (cos I kick out randomly all the time) constant feelings wouldn’t go away, I researched it like Sherlock
I’m convinced!
Grr another supplement that doesn’t get airtime, because they made such huge amounts from their dirty DMDs ( and the drs/neuros do too FYI, my friend is a medical rep - ohh the stories I could tell u ! Immoral bunch of ..)
I’m only on day one so far, but the evidence is compelling and I actually feel (prob placebo at this stage lol)... not advocating, just informing....
That supplement has helped to lessen the electric type jolts in my face, the burning and numbing. I've been taking it for years with L-Carnitine and a few others.
Hope you continue to see improvement. I have been thinking of taking ALA in hopes it may help with ms neuropathy as studies show it can help with diabetic neuropathy.
I have neuropathy, unknown type, and I'm not diabetic. After 4+ years, those things happen still but not as much and not as long. I'm surprised more neuros don't encourage use of supplements. There are others that also help with nerve pain.
Lemme grab my cape! 💪🤣 600mg three times per day on an empty stomach 🤔 Do you set a timer? This is one I have not tried, but am adding it to my list to investigate. Ty!
Oh, I remember now. This one was confusing to me because different dosages and forms have been studied. What form and dose did you decide on? Anyone else want to chime in on theirs?
Okay, heard about this before, and never acted on it. Just ordered some. I believe in healthy eating and supplements. Worth a try. I use CBD to quench the nightly Dysesthesia pain, as all the typical scripts I tried for years, just didn't do it. Vaping CBD flower does, but a supplement? That would be nice!
