CBD as medication

To my special friends of Bill and Bob and others, I was wondering if you take CBD? If you do, what does it do for you? Is it worth it? Does it make you feel high? thanks

CBD helped me with my restless leg syndrome and sleep. Sublingually worked better than vaping but for some it’s the other way around. When things were really bad I also used a topical on my legs. I now have a cannabis card and it works even better so I rarely use the CBD anymore.

If only it was legal in the U.K., it would help so many. Glad it worked on your restless leg. 😊

I tried CBD oil through a website recommended by MS group a few years ago and it did nothing for me either. Truly nothing. I have been told medical marijuana is approved for MS but that’s not a good idea for me.

I’ve tried it and had no results, but I was also reluctant to keep increasing the dose, etc. I’m currently trying Delta 8, which is a vape so not good for a lot of people, but so far it helps with sleep and discomfort. It’s legal in most states and doesn’t have the unwanted side effects that the illegal products are popular for.

I tried it and it did nothing. There were not specific dose instructions except to increase the drops until it "worked".

I wasn't interested in doing shots of oil to get a result so I stopped.

I didn't get high as it didn't have THC.

That was just my experience though. Others might have been helped in some way.

Sandydemop I feel no effect with cbd alone. I found that a few drops of a thc tincture added to cbd helps with my spasticity tightness and pain. The thc is low enough that I do not feel any "high". Everything I have read suggests that cbd alone does little for ms symptoms, usually a little thc is needed also. For me, it works almost as well as tramadol

I use cbd salve on my back and foot works great 👍 It is thc/cbd, tried regularly with no thc didn’t do much but add thc is great. Explained to doctor and he is fine with it as it doesn’t effect bloodwork only oral does. Plus I just use it for medical purposes. Have several friends with ms that use edibles and love them for ms pain. A couple friends that smoke it and also say it really helps. I only have one lung 🫁 so that’s not an option for me and not legal in Idaho. All the states around us is legal, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, California. Hopefully it passes next year, 2022 is on agenda 🤞🙏 I don’t use it all the time as I have a pain pump that keeps me at about a 4-5 regularly 👍. Everyone is different, but if you use it for the right reason I think you’re fine 👍😉🤗 Ken 🐾🐾

I use a CDB ointment for pain relief. It works great but is expensive. I haven’t found anything else that works as well.

I vape CBD flower. No concoction vape liquid, just flower. Works from hemp, or healthier? lab certified pesticide free cannabis via the medical cannabis here. Edibles help only somewhat, not like vaping which for my neurologic burning feet that keep me up all night without vaping, like a light switch, or as my neurologist used to say, antacid. The only med that works instantaneously, Sorry, this does too!. Edibles, takes an edible + alcohol, so it takes both to get it working, so not really a solution. Stay healthy, vape clean flower. Again, my pain is the neurologic burning feet syndrome as I joke about it these days. Before cannabis & CBD, it was cut off my feet with a power saw on my mind all night. Now it's just time to vape and get back to bed. M.S. still sucks in so many ways, but my pain? No more!

I have been a friend for 33.5 years. My therapist and sponsor encouraged me to "get a friend in COlorado" when I had a double mastectomy. I took the painkiller in the hospital but that was it. The data says it is not addictive. I have used THC, CBD etc for the MS. I am able to work, have my family and function. My addict behavior has not kicked it. I stay close and don't "stone" out. I am a 64 f with PPMS and use a cane. My MS symptoms include urogenic, migraines, spacity in my back and gastro system, fatigue and horrible brain fog.

Hi Sporting thanks for checking in with me. I'm not in any pain and not seeking drugs at all but glad to know people are staying sober. How does the brain fog interfere with your work and how are you able to work with that? You sound like you are functioning very well. I share some of your symptoms and my walking is not great plus the new double vision symptom. It sounds like you are making it work for yourself.

I have tried the strongest oil tablets and it provided no relief for anything. I found it to be worthless.

I don't but I read that can have benefits.

I’ve used a couple of different formulas of CBD. Some work better than others. Like other folks here have mentioned, having a tincture of THC added to the CBD boosts its effects. It still doesn’t get you high, but it does help to relax the muscles and promote sleep.

Oooh, this is a great tool that helps me relax and unwind in the evening from a hard day. I take vegetarian and gluten-free gummies from goldbee.com/ . Unlike many gummies that are offered to us, these delicacies are made without gelatin of animal origin. I am delighted, it is a tasty and useful product)
