Ok guys I’m in ambixia, nerotin and did steroids with my O two days ago, bp reading is optimal but I feel high and extremely dizzy, do not want to go to the clinic, today is meant to be an off day. Any advice? Drinking fresh juice and thinking, would appreciate any tips

I HAVE to take meclizine for a few days after receiving Ocrevus and solumedrol. My neurologist prescribes it for me.

Ah but this is long term meds, and being high as a kite cannot work for anyone

I only take it when absolutely necessary not long term.

I am personally on O with the Solumedrol steroid. The on med you mentioned. That being said, Neurontin on it's own puts my brain in a deep fog and I'm not able to do anything cognitive until it is out of my system. Neurontin affects different people differently, for example my Sister in law becomes very hyper on it.

Ah now you’re making sense, I wasn’t hyper but so out of it

I’ve taken Neurotin for years without noticing any side effects but I don’t typically have them . My primary care first prescribed it off label for hot flashes believe it or not! Then prescribed a higher dose for the neuropathy in my legs.

I do not know what Ambixia is but I do take Neurontin (Gabapentin) for dizziness. I mostly only take it at bedtime since it does make me sleepy but keep it in my purse in case I need it during the day. I haven't needed to take it during the day since a physical therapist did the Epley maneuver after I had vertigo during her assessment. So I must have had some loose crystals in my inner ear causing my positional vertigo. I still have a little vertigo from the MS but the Gabapentin keeps it to where I only very occasionally get the sensation I am about to be dizzy and then it stops without actually getting dizzy.Hopefully once the steroids wear off the high sensation will resolve!

If you continue to have dizziness look into a provider experienced in the Epley maneuver as its success is tied to the person performing it, my neuro told me he is not good at it 😀 I think ENT physicians and physical therapists would be your best bet.

Hope you feel better soon!!!
