OT and PT both yesterday..
Wow 😳, I am such a wimp—-I used to be tough!
Been up all nite thinking 🤔 about it...guess it will take time to get used to, or build back up.
Question...flu shot or not??
I usually don’t, but 2020 has been, beyond weird 🤪

I’m sorry it’s so tough right now. I’m praying for the strength you need.
My neurologist and PCP always recommend a flu shot every year since my diagnosis. I’m just on Copaxone, so I don’t have to consider the timing too much. The shots knock me down fir a day or two, but nothing horrible and probably much better than what flu would do.
Feel better soon.

2020 has been so weird... I think 🤔 I will take the flu 🤧 shot—scheduled for tomorrow...
I have had a flu shot 💉 since ms over 27 years. I haven’t had any hard core flu, maybe slight symptoms a couple times? No side effects except arm little sore for a day. Did the two pneumonia shot 💉 two years ago and also shingrix for shingles. Same thing just sore arm. Just hoping prevention works 🤞🙏 So far good 👍 😉🤗🤗🤗 Ken 🐾🐾
I would get one if I was not on ocrevus, or if my family members would not all be immunized, but they will be by Nov. I got one because I had travel to gross places last time. It depends on what you take, who you are exposed to, and how hard you’re planning to party this flu season 🤣
It is a question for a lot of people and they will be searching the forum for posts like these.
kdali and Hidden I am on O and just had a senior flu yesterday. I had called my neuro. and was told it had been long enough since my last infusion (over 2 months)
I always get a flu shot based on doctor recommendation. This is a perfect time, as the “quad” shot, covering 4 strains of flu is available. Never have had a problem, personally, but that is just me. I also got the two shingles shots a couple years ago. It covers me for life, they say, from shingles. Made just for people with compromised immune systems! No big deal there either, but I am numb. I never feel needles! Like so many. Hope you feel good about your decision, sweetie!
A number of doctors said no to flu shot to me a couple of years ago. They couldn't even get the sequence right in good years. Don't expect it to protect you from COVID-19.
I thought I was tough as well but with changes I've had over the last year I can not have a MRI of head and c-spine done at the same time. Being on my back for that long doesn't work for me anymore.
I'm on Ocrevus and have had a flu shot for the last 3 years and have not got the flu during that period. Both my Nuro and ENT have told me to give it 2 weeks before or after a Ocrevus treatment.
once a year for long time even before this monster they call MS...ahhahha...
I got one on Labor Day. No problems with it at all.
