No, In don't recall my top foot pain was a pre-curser to foot drop, agapepilgrim I do have intense pain on the top of my foot, interestingly it always is on my left foot that has foot drop. Hmm. I usually apply a hot compress to in and it does help. And I keep it elevated. Let your doctor know of this. Keep Smiling :-D

The pain has now moved up to the backside of my knee. And my daughter said she can by my breathing and coughing I still have pneumonia. So I suppose that’s why I am so tired of living.

My top of foot pain is due to foot drop because my foot will be in a plantar flexed, inverted position when relaxed/at rest and that strains the dorsum of my foot

Hope not. I was feeling that myself the other night!

I didn't have any pain prior to my foot drop but nowadays, I occasionally get a stabbing pain in one of my feet, usually while in bed.

My husband bought me some Frankincense & Myrrh rubbing oil and it actually helps.
