We have some hosta plants in the backyard and they have done pretty well with little to no weeding needing in the area they are in. This year, LOTS of weeds came up, seemed almost like out of nowhere. Got one of the lawn chairs and some garden gloves and pulled weeds. A couple of areas at a time. The weather has been in the 60s today so it was great weather for it! My dog, Caddie didn't mind being outside while I did it either Big change from the humid high 80s we had last week. High temps are supposed to return this week and then lower the following week. Crazy weather lol
Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

Took out screens and washed windows. It was 15 degrees cooler today so I took advantage. My back didn’t like it but it’s done ✅ Used steel wool and got all the hard water 💦 spots also. 4-hours, so time for brake 👍starting to warm up and wind blowing so I think I will stay inside and wipe down door jambs and handles. Hope everyone has a wonderful day 🙏👍☺️ n Ken 🐾 🐾
Yes! I figured the weather was nice and there was no better time to get it done. Took a break so I didn't overdo it. When I was back outside with my dog, and I looked at it, I was very proud..it looked very nice compared to what it looked like before
The idea of conceptualizing energy as a number of spoons (7) has been one of the most important lessons I've learned about MS. Previously, I felt that if I mowed the grass, I also had to do the trimming, weeding, and raking/clean up -- as one big job. Now, depending on the weather (heat index), I feel good when I only get part of one task done, because the next day will give me more energy to use as I deem most important. And somehow, by parceling out the energy, and allowing myself to rest (even before I am flat out exhausted) I get more done. Ultimately, we are accountable only to ourselves.
it can be fun and great exercise that you really don't mind doing for you have something nice to see what now looks nice and really like it ...can make it fun ...sounds weird but can be that way ...my husband has promised to clean the windows for i tried and they still look terrible so hopefully he can get them clean it is terrible when you are always trying to look around the grim up the summer all the dust is the pits that is what happens when you live in the out back and have dirt roads ...ahhahahha...enjoy the cooler weather for we are getting another week of high heat ....take care and enjoy life with loads of laughs and smiles oh and here are some big hugs for all of you ...
