Prep'ing for my Ocrecus infusion tomorrow

I have an Ocrevus infusion tomorrow. I'm actually excited for it because it's been 13 months since the last one and I know I'm currently exposed to relapse with B-cells having bounced back. So can't wait to get this under control again.

Today, I'll make sure I drink a lot of water. and no late night or drinking tonight. I've signed up for a Yoga Relaxation class instead.

If all goes well like last time, I'll drive myself to and back from the hospital and Sunday I'll have a steroid high. Nothing to complain about.

I hope it goes well! Are you restarting the infusion with 2 half doses since it’s been so long?

Trying the 1/2 dose as the full dose seems to be too much for me. Ocrevus depletes not only the B-cells but also the T-cells. Started blood test every 2 months after full dose at + 6 months. And even at 10 month, the neuro hesitated to order another round of Ocrevus. He offered me 3 choices: (1) full dose with all the risk of a depleted immune system, (2) 1/2 dose, or (3) other treatment.

Ocrevus works for me - made my ms dormant in 6 months after the 2 first 1/2 doses (MRI check). So I decided to go for the 1/2 dose.

I'll do a blood check in 2 months to validate whether it depleted all the b-cells.

This is only my 3rd round of Ocrevus since July 2018. I've not had any reaction to it whatsoever. Yesterday, they gave me the standard benadryl + steroid support.

All went great! Slept through most of it. Then waked up and drove myself home.
