G'Day family all are well I hope.
Over a conversation this morning, involving way too much coffee. I decided what can I do to give my life value. I can not work, I will not have children, so what can I do? What can "YOU" do? I feel that I build my feelings of worth by driving myself to be a positive influence for others to follow. To adapt in their own lives, To give them feelings of worth, a goal to work towards.
When I was first diagnosed, long ago. Like "YOU" I was lost, what did my long future look like? What could my plan, my path be? Where was it leading me? It took me years to find a direction, but even though I did not know where I was going, I kept moving. Our prognosis is not good, we are not going to get better, BUT we do not have to get worse. Find something that "YOU" can hold on to, something to give "YOU" a direction. To give "YOU" worth, on those long lonely nights, to give "YOU a purpose.
Relapsing-Remitting ms is not the end of "YOU". Do not despair, make it a new starting point for a very different "YOU".
