Well, I caved.: Today I begin my first DMT... - My MSAA Community
Well, I caved.
Piece of cake! Good luck.
Yeahhhhh! ππππ
congrads and welcome 2 the club
Congrats! IMHO, a DMT is essential to battling this MonSter. I just celebrated by 26th year dx anniversary, and it will be my 23rd anniversary of starting Avonex this upcoming September.
Back when I was first dx, the only tx available was Beta (which was dispensed via a lottery). Three years after my dx, I started on Avonex (September 1997) when my follow up MRI showed tons of "silent progression."
Although still no cure, a DMT is essential to a smart MS Strategy. Congrats on starting your tx. Best wishes as you begin your newest journey!
Welcome to the club!
Good luck! My first full dose is today. You will do great!
Yay!!! Welcome to the next chapter of this never ending book! Prayers for you...ππ

it will be a breeze.I read yesterday they got it down to a 2 hour infusion in europe, maybe coming soon, best to you!
Caved???? It's not a sign of weakness to take positive steps toward the future. You are already strong or else you wouldn't have taken on the responsibility of a beautiful dog who will always need you. Any steps you take to maintain your strength, honors that commitment.
Good luck. Iβm personally glad you made the decision. We are fortunate to have so many options, compared to what people with MS had available 30+ years ago (no treatment).
I hear great things about it! Good luck!
Well, the sooner the better! Best of luck π§‘
