I'm sorry that it is taking so long to diagnose you. My diagnosis took 4 months but it felt like a lifetime! I hope there is a diagnosis soon in your future.

I got jerked around for nearly 5 years. Hope yours doesn't take that long. To say that it's aggravating doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. When i first complained of symptoms a nurse practitioner immediately said MS. full fledged doctors spent the rest of the time trying to prove her wrong. !!!!!!AAARRRHHHH!!!!!!

So many of us have gone through a long wait to get a clear diagnosis. My daughter is now starting that long process, and I hate to watch her go through it. However, since so many symptoms overlap, I’d want to know for sure so I’d get the appropriate and most effective treatment.

Keep us updated about the process and results. I’m sorry it’s so hard.

my dx took 5 months, he thought MS but tried to prove his thoughts wrong. He ran every test known at the time, in the end he was right from the beginning. I would rather they run all the tests and give me the correct dx than to assume and be wrong. Be patient, it could end in your favor. But it can be very frustrating non the less, arg! ~terry

I hear you! I feel like I've been tested for everything under the sun and don't understand how they could still be ordering tests! I guess it's been somewhere between one and a half and two years now?

I was diagnosed with RA last summer. I thought FINALLY! box check marked and moved on with treatment for RA. Here I am back in testing for MS.

It's very frustrating, aggravating, and stress inducing. I've decided to just let it go, show up for my tests, and take their band-aides, and figure at some point they will figure it out. (I think????)

Good luck to you 🍀
