Chihuahua? Dachshund? (Well, partly cause of ears). I lean toward Miniature Doberman. Vet says no one knows. But she sure has stubbornness of Min Pin

She is either not intelligent or very very stubborn. Mandi knee at least 100 words. Annie will not even learn the word “come”. She seems to know what “stay” means but as soon as I am out of sight off she goes. The more I read about Miniature Pinschers the more I think she is one. When I do go to the back of our acre that lets her know I am staying out with her she runs faster than the rabbits. If not for the fence I think she would catch one. Back in the house, she lumps for the rest of the day. She sure likes to run faster than Mandi ever did, even tho she has a patella luxation from the time of broken back. That’s why she can’t jump up on bed, etc. Reminds me of us with MS when we push ourselves, use forks we don’t have, and suffer for the next 2 weeks😀. She does love to run fast as the wind when I am willing to stand and watch. I don’t think she has a drop of dachshund in her. Lol.

Nup - not a Miniature pinscher - she must have stood in the wrong queue when legs were being handed out because hers are way to short for a mini pinscher. Look much more like a standard Heinz 56 varieties - and some of those varieties, especially the terrier ones, could well account for her reluctance to be trained. Still - the most important thing is whether you love her or not.

You think she has terrier in her ? I like terriers. Her stubbornness is unbelievable, probably because of first 8 yrs of improper treatment and lack of training. I have such sympathy for her. Wish my husband didn’t get so impatient with her but I try to comfort her when he scolds her. Ok, I will settle for Heinz 57 - sounds about right. She doesn’t know who she is (like me sometimes 🤔🙃😩🤪thank you.

You could do a dna test on her to see what breeds she has in her dna No matter what, she is still cute

If that costs money, that is out. My hubby would have a conniption fit😂 but thanks. Would be interesting. I love to watch Westminster dog show and all the breeds. Fascinating. The. I research their origins. Did you know dachshunds were bred to dig for groundhogs and other underground animals?

They do cost money, some more than others. I think I have heard/read about that in dachshunds.
