Found this lil guy this AM

He (baby screech owl) was able to climb into a shrub and we were told he'd call for his momma when he got hungry. In the mean time, keeping our eye out for wayward cats!

How precious, hope Momma comes to the rescue soon. When I was a working person, we had 4' bushes around parts of the building and baby owls every spring. They were always ok, we figured Momma was coming to feed them and take care of them.

erash , I thought you might like to know that my son named your baby owl "Hopkins," and he is saved as an image on both of our phones.

Hopkins is perfect! Thank your son for me...but I hope Hopkins mother comes to rescue him tonight because he was still hanging out same branch, same shrub this evening and while the birds of prey ctr. Reassured he'd be fine, I'm worried 🙁

There is a local bird sanctuary in your area.If you must, throw a towel over not to break wings and put inside a box.Usually mother nature works best...

I posted this around a month ago...and I was until last weekend volunteering at a birds of prey sanctuary.
