got my stimulas check

after a couple of weeks of whining,i received my check.hooray! irs said on their website they were mailing it on 5/8/2020 and I received it in the mail on 5/11.they still kind of messed it up,i was suppose to get mine direct deposit because I am on social disability,i received a check to me for the 1200,and my husband and I got a check together,made out to both of us because i guess that is how we file taxes,for 1200 I guess for him but my name was on it too.scratch heads????hope it doesn't bite me in the tushy

I would not spend the 1200 that was sent to you only since you and your husband received money together. The gov't has messed up a lot of things with this and would hate for you to have to pay it back after it was spent.

I got my check in the mail a few days age. They did not put into my bank account even I have direct deposit for my social security.

I havent filed taxes since getting ssi and i moved twice in 4 months. I hold out no hope of ever getting it but boy do i have plans for it .... 🎉🎉

I don't know. I think it was easier for them to send it by mail or may be they are too stupid!

You are so lucky! I read an article stating that WE (the royal we..!!) should get it on wednesday, direct deposit. Well, I hope so, fingers crossed!

My husband and I file jointly but we each got a separate check, direct deposited in our account. It's the government. They don't have a clue what they're doing...

Just checked this morning. The IRS finally acknowledges I'm alive and they will sent me a check soon. They only took 3 days to cash my check to them? But, at least I have some indication I will get something. One Congressman who offered to help any of us who hadn't, couldn't do it. Said the IRS was just too xyz! After having mail boxes full of people taking him up on the help offer. And day after day, nothing they could do. So all we can do s hope? oh no, my eye key oard s go ng o t aga n????
