How I have missed all of you! Problem was, I had no answers, and it threw me into depression.
To start, after the steroids, the pain! OMG the pain!!! Called the Dr scale 1- 10? Giving birth a 10, an 9.8. they gave me hydromorphone! Zombie land for me! Then agreed to the tests.
Wait what? I was not in my right mind... Angiogram of neck... Heart test... MRI of neck... And kidneys... And blood work..
Then I read in his notes after 5yrs might not be MS??? I'm sorry? WHAT? What are you talking about?
So yesterday when I saw him, we went over everything!!
Yes I have A typical MS, I am not normal, but we all know this!! And I told him to put it in my chart, cause I'm sick of it!
All other tests came out fine! He is keeping me on Ocrevus for now, even though I broke threw it.
I hope you all are doing better than I am! ☺️
🤗💕🌠
PS he also told me that 5% of ms patients don't have o bands. Guess where I fall... 😒

After 41 years of being told that I had MS, by multiple doctors, the specialists said that I didn’t. Totally threw me into depression. They say they don’t know what it is. I asked the last specialist if it could be A typical MS, she said maybe. I don’t have o bands either.
They are sick 😔 Val’s first cold, and it’s been a year since V was sick. I have not had to give any medicine today, which is hopeful, but no one wants to eat or drink much!! That’s like 70% of what we are suppose to be doing and no one is participating 😵🤣 Val still won’t hold her bottle. She’s not amused with a supply cup or finger foods 🤷♀️ What a weird kid! She’s on the move. 19lbs now! Keeps trying to say DaDa????? Just started sleeping through the night this week 👏👏👏👏👏
Oligoclonal Bands: Abnormal immune proteins called immunoglobulins. These are present in the CSF of roughly 90 percent of individuals with MS, however, they can occur with several other neurological disorders. Since the introduction of the MRI, CSF analysis is used less often, but it can be helpful in supporting an MS diagnosis if the MRI results are normal or inconclusive. Per MSAA glossary. 🤣 🤗💕🌠
drs. need t understand that no 2 ms. patients are alike, when i was first diagnost they try to tell me,well you don't have many bands in your spine,oh come on!
So glad that you are back! I've missed you! I am so glad your eyes are better! What a strange and weird un-diagnosis....I think that would have made me cuss! I am happy that they finally gave you some reasonable answers. Keep us posted!
I have missed you also! It made me very sad to think I wouldn't be part of this family anymore. 🙁 Not that I'm happy to have MS, don't get me wrong!! But I know where I stand with it.😂🤣🤗💕
Happy to see you back Jesmcd2 Glad your vision is back to normal, scary when it gets wacky. I don't think I have o bands either. My dx was based on mri that 'looked like' ms and spinal tap to confirm. It is strange when people are diagnosed with ms and then years, a dr says 'wait, you don't have ms'. Hope all goes well for you. Keep us updated!
Good! My youngest granddaughter had her 1st bday party today! I also found out that grandbaby #13 is a girl. My husband is grinning like a fool in heaven. 😂
welcome back ..life is so fun ...love and happiness...we are so glad your okay but a little confused but so is all of us ...hahahha...have a great day ...
Thank you for your post. I have learned a few things and glad you're doing better. Could you give me a better definition of o bands it is a term. I never heard of that term before. My biggest issue with MS is extreme dizziness all the time and it sounds like it may be beneficial in my care.
Hi JTZES Oligoclonal Bands: Abnormal immune proteins called immunoglobulins. What does your neuro say about being dizzy all the time? 🤗💕👻
My vestibular nerve has been damaged severely by lessons. The vestibular nerve controls your all your balance. I've evaluated by a national known vestibular specialist who confirmed the Neurologist diagnosis. So I am kinda suck with what I have.
