Swine flu 2009

In 2009, the H1N1 stats: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that swine flu infected nearly 61 million people in the United States and caused 12,469 deaths. Worldwide, up to 575,400 people died from pandemic swine flu. Something smells in the way the media is now handling this so called crisis.

Yep! Its and election year. The media will use what ever they can to try to get the public to think their way.

I’m sure it’s Trumps fault. At least that’s what the media will tell us.🧐🤨☹️😢😭.

I guess it’s all what site you read for statistics. WHO reports in 2019 the swine flu had a mortality rate of 0.02%. The WHO reports that the COVID19 virus has a mortality rate of 3.4%. But, this probably because the swine flu hit a lot of healthy young people while covid 19 doesn’t even affect children, while covid19 is attacking the over 60 group who have comorbidities and low immune systems who can’t fight it. We should nickname this virus “Hitler.” I just read that Italy has limited health facilities so they are making treatment choices based on “years to live” and “comorbidities” so their death rate will be incorrectly very high. The nursing home fatility greatly altered our statistics of death rates. Whatever, as I said in earlier post, America has serious lack of hygiene as proven by our high number on flu cases. A lot of the 535 swamp people are over 60 so they are really worried. Stay home and write your jokes

But it's not true that coronavirus doesn't affect children. They also get it.

You are right. Children with underlying health issues are just as vulnerable as adults and over 60. Healthy young people and healthy children are the ones most likely to be carriers and not know it.

In 2009, I didn't know I had MS. Nor was I on Ocrevus. I am sure it was the right decision to cancel my vacation.
