Started Mayzent

I am on day 4 of the Mayzent. I have had no side effects except a silent or optic migraine and weakness. I hadn't noticed weakness until I went to PT. I tried to do an exercise I have done before and couldn't. It is a hard exercise. But it shocked me that I couldn't do it at all. I hope that gets better. Tomorrow I take the last starter dose and Friday I take the first full dose. So I guess we will see how it goes.

I have to admit I had to look up ocular migraine as I'd never heard of it before. It sounds like this is a new symptom for you. I've never taken Mayzent so I'm curious as to what others have experienced. Now I'm going to have go research the drug as well. I hope the migraines are only a temporary side effect and you can feel comfortable about the medication.

I have had them before but not often. My blood pressure was high also. I got a full blown migraine last night and that is something I never have. But I took pain med and went to bed and this morning it was better. Bp was normal and no headache. I think that once my body adjusts it will be ok. I hope.

I got worse on Mayzent briefly before getting better.

Yes everything level back out so everything is going fine with it.

how did it get worse? i got up to 1mg for maybe week or so and then everything weakened. i could barely walk, my rt arm went totally numb. i can;t deal with that. please tell me moreb/c i want to stop it. thanks
