I've been approved for the brand new DMT called Mayzent? I have the starter dose and the first months caplets in my refrigerator unopened. With the pandemic going nuts across the United States I spoke with my neurologist and got approval to wait to start new DMT until the pandemic quiets down.
I really hate to wait because it seems like my MS is playing Havoc with me. I'm weak and tired, have little to no balance upon occasion and it happens out of the blue. But I decided make myself less of a target for the Coronavirus by keeping my immune system of it stronger that it would be if I did a DMT that we can buy immune system even more than the MS already has.
It took the way because I'm not doing well and it's been like this for the past several weeks now. But every night when I turn on the news my decision to wait is reaffirmed when I see how many new people have died across the United States. Knowing they're predicting 100,000 to 200,000 people to die in the United States scares the tarnation out of me. So I've decided to live with the MS running amok and hopefully coming through this pandemic in one piece.
Hopefully I can start the DMT in the next few months. Once I do I will be sure to keep everybody up to date on how it's going for me and if it's effective for me. Take care until we speak again. Stay inside and protect yourself. Remember we are never truly alone even in isolation, we are alone together! Fancy.

I will be sure to let every one know how it goes. My final test is the sixth hour initial dose and if that goes okay I'm in. I'll let everyone know when I scheduled it 6 hours long at the doctor's office. Thanks for all the support the prayers and the kind words. People like you make this world a better place. Happy to hear you were approved for the new drug. Smart to delay starting it until things calm down. I hope that when you do start it, it works well for you.
Gm I pray it goes well please keep us un to date I have been taking zinc and orange juice to keep my umm system up and doing saying my distance hand washing which is normal they say keeping our hands from touching our noes mouth amd eyes everyone stay safe and healthy

I have been on Mayzent since November. No side effects what so ever. I have not been more susceptible to colds or anything else in that time. Good luck.
Yes, I had hair loss. I'm on Aubagio. I lost A lot of hair that I could see my scalp. After about 3 months it stopped falling out. Then it started growing back and is back to normal. That was a year and half ago. I was told it would grow back and I kept taking it and now it's fine.
That's fantastic news with the Mayzent. I wish you the very best of luck. I had done the Lemtrada Infusions back in 2016 and 2017. I will never do anymore Infusions. your so smart to go with the oral med. I've been on all kinds of treatments. But I feel I've had it so long now that the meds just don't work anymore. My own opinion is the meds that are out there are pretty much for the younger folks and newly diagnosed folks. Good for them. I'm so happy they stand a better chance these days. So much money and research has gone into M.S. , I was diagnosed back in the early 80s with mine. but was able to work fulltime up until 2001, 2002. Then it all caught up to me. I try to walk with a cane but I'm only fooling myself. I keep falling down. I get so mad at myself. But I hate like hell to give in. I think I've messaged with you before fancy.
