Hello, has anyone found a Part D plan with Medicare that covers Mayzent. Unfortunately I have not and will have to postpone retirement as my current employer plan does cover this drug which is very expensive. Thank you for sharing. BTW, Mayzent has a “help” program but you can’t qualify if you own your home. Thanks in advance.

I have never heard of this drug before. Maybe by contacting the company directly you can find help there? or the other sources that were suggested. Please keep us updated.

Hi Lespauljoe call MSAA at (800) 532-7667 and you can also check out mayzent.com/alongside-ms and see if they can help! 🤗💕🌠
i hope you find solutions..ty for sharing....my husband under impression that medicare pays for all. im so anxious over this its horrifying. 6 months until we find out
Because MS medication is SOOOOO expensive, I often wonder if Medicare covers any MS meds … especially when you’re on Medicare due to retirement, not disability. Does age have anything to do with it? Hmmmm. Inquiring minds would like to know. I have PPMS and there only is one medication, Ocrivus, but my doctor won’t put me on it since I’ve had breast cancer and there’s a risk taking this if you already had breast cancer.
I don’t think it will take effect immediately but the bill president Biden just signed will limit the yearly out of pocket max for prescription drugs to no more then $2000.00 annually for folks on Medicare. Help is on the way.
also try "the assistance fund" also
