I want to make things clear. These recent funny stories are not mine, my writing is not that frivolous. My writing is more serious with a humorous tone to it. I write about things that matter to me. I do like the funny stories and will, from time to time, share them with you as we all know, laughter is indeed, the best medicine.
I will ask one thing from you guys. If you see anything about MS I have written here anywhere else on the internet, please make note of where and let me know. I posted a lot of my writing on Facebook not knowing how to make non-sharable and it was posted and reposted all over until I found my writing on other webpages with other people's names attributed. I had to notify my lawyer to submit a "cease and desist" letter or be sued for copyright infringement. I have been told I should write a book and I did write a duo memoir and advice for my sons on how to deal with life and it's setbacks. I have had to submit my manuscript to both the DHS as well as the AUSA to proofread to ensure I have not reveled any state secrets as some of it is my work in the Texas Bureau of Investigate where I was a state cop with government security clearance. I hope to be released soon. They have had it for nearly 2 years!! LOL

Things have a way of coming back around.That is what I tell myself anyway...
I have seen both my artwork and photography posted on other websites without my permission.
I have also had people come into my booth at artfairs taking pictures of my work.
The weirdest was when I saw a version of much of my work at an art fair I was in.
The woman would buy my work, then try to reproduce and sell it.
She even tried to get me to teach her students how to use underglazes on their pottery. (apparently SHE needed to learn how to do this) This of course was before I caught her at that art fair.
Then there are those who go to these events with long lenses to take photos of artist's work from a distance.
They then use the image to mass produce these things over seas.
There are people who will innocently want a photo of your work, then there are those who don't have an original thought and have to steal from others.
Then you will get one of those “ adorable “ blankets, and a t-shirt. Seriously, how does one decide between disabled children, abused animals, and damaged war veterans? And why always $19? And how much of that $19 is spent on endless advertising? And manufacturing these “adorable” blankets? I’m sure this will not be a popular post, however the coaching of these beautiful children really bothers me. Someone writes their narratives. And I really wonder if the advertising dollars could be better spent.
