I h ave 3 main doctors I visit. All 3 belong to 3 different healthcare programs/companies however you might want to call them. One of the things that's kind of a pain in the hinney about it all is things that may have happened or discussed with my neurologist won't be sent to my primary care doctor and none of it goes to my cardiologist.

So recntly because of the Corona virus outbreak, I get questioned by all three: "Have you traveled recently? Have you traveled to China?" I told the vampires at the University hospital where I had to go for blood tests yesterday, "I haven't traveled to China, I did, however, have Kung Pao Shrimp a few days ago. But I prefer Dos XX to Corona." The vampires have good senses of humor, so they got a good laugh at the questions they are having to ask every patient.

Anyway, Monday My primary care's healthcare company requires a questionair be filled out online before the appointment. I had tried for 4 days to complete the questionair but it wouldn't accept my answer! Question: "Have you been around anyone who is sick?" My answer:"No". I responded repeatedly, "No". Wouldn't accpt it. So I went to my appointment, sat in the waiting for about an hour where people were sneezing and coughing. Then I was called back to an exam room. My doctor came in and the "wellness" visit begins. I ttell her I tried to complete the questionair, but I'd now I have to change my answer to YES! I've been around people who are sick, because I was jiust in your waiting room!"

you have to fill out paperwork for anything to be sent to other doctors ...i think it is for each doctor but i know there is some paperwork that you have to sign that says for them to send to other doctors....some will complain about getting it but it is so everyone is on the same page right .....keep pushing...

My neurologists over time have always sent a copy of their notes from my visits to my family doctor so they were in the loop as to what was going on with my MS. My family drs never sent anything over to my neuro unless they thought what was going on with me at the visit was important to my neuro to know.
