I was so dazzled by this brand new healthcare system in the Albuquerque area and their primary care doctor, that I jumped ship . . .
And I can't swim!
The Healthcare system and the primary care are still amazing. The problem is where I had to get rid of a fantastic healthcare insurance plan that covered everything I needed covered except the new system and doctor. I told them I shopped for coverage every November based on, 1 who covers my medications, specifically Aubagio, and then 2 who then covers my doctors.
The doctors were no longer as important as they used to be because my neurologist had moved on to rug rats instead of old farts, my cardiologist had been abducted by space aliens, and my primary care would be with the new system because the one I had died suddenly Thanksgiving weekend. But those meds were damned important, and Aubagio was only covered by 2 companies. One of which, I wasmtold was lousy, and the other was the one I had: United Healthcare.
I was told by the two ladies who handled insurance for the new system, that it was incorrect there were only 2 companies covering Aubagio. They mentioned the lousy company, of course. However they said there was another company that was NEVER mentioned . . .
I was willing to listen. It sounded great, so I went for it. Besides, it was cool it was the health system whose hospital I was born!
Then I get a letter from my new insurance Co.:
It was a letter telling me they DO NOT cover Aubagio!
They will so "temporarily", but . . .
I don't know if the two bi----s know Multiple Sclerosis isn't "temporary", or if they were so excited about getting me set up I. The new healthcare system, they didn't care they had to lie. >
