Saw my Neuro today. He upped my Nortriptaline since I am still having headaches. He said the cold weather can cause it so that may explain why I have been having them lately. I was taking 3 (10mg) capsules and recently upped it to 4. The prescription he ordered is a 50mg pill Hopefully, this will help.
We talked about numbers being low on Tecfidera but not in a range that he wants to stop it yet. He also said that my JC virus number was rather low so at my next appt on 6/15 will do bloodwork then. If my numbers continue to drop then he said I can take a break from the Tecfidera for my numbers to go back up then I can go back on it. If I were to switch to something else, I would have to be off the Tecfidera for awhile anyway. He said he did that for another patient and it is working out well. I just hope my numbers go back up. Stay tuned

I take 2 - 25 MG Nortriptyline at bedtime. It helps with my Restless Leg Syndrome. I will probably go back on my Rituxan infusions in March. Had to go off so I could have hip replacement.
The cold weather can be crippling , I only have to breathe the cold air and wow, bang my headache starts. I use a microwave heat wrap instead of medication, it helps me focus on the heat rather than the cold. Hope you get relief soon, we all need our heads to be clear, Blessings Jimeka 💜 🤗 🙏
Tecfidera made my white blood count drop like a stone to a dangerous point. I was switched to Aubagio which, fortunately, has kept things in check without any side effects. Keep your options open!
mrsmike9 I am definately keeping my options open When I see my Neuro again and have bloodwork we will see what happens. My bloodwork has dropped little by little but goes back up some sometimes..weird.
