Here is the top I pieced last week. It's a lap quilt that will be donated to DAV. It's made from shirts that I cleaned out of my husband's closet. I have another one in the works that will be donated to a cancer charity here in town that is used for chemo patients. I will post them both after they are quilted.

No I've just started making donated quilts. I have a friend that drives the DAV van twice a month from here to the VA. He is retired Army. I've been involved with a group here called C-Vets that works with suicide prevention here in the area. I just felt the need to do something to give back to those that put their life on the line so I can live free. The cancer program here was started by a hairdresser that I know, after her mom died from cancer. She helps them with rides to Drs. utility bills, wigs etc. & she told me the other day she was in need of blankets for chemo patients. I've volunteered for several of her fundraisers too.
