I have said this before but maybe “YOU” are Newly Diagnosed (Newbie) or “YOU “ just forgot, which is to be expected. We do have a Central Nervous System (CNS) illness so forgetting is quite okay.
LEARN YOURSELF, everything, learn it again and then “YOU” think “YOU” have got it learn it again. This does not mean that “YOU” are stupid or anything negative it just means that “YOU” have Relapsing-Remitting ms and “YOU” make mistakes. We all do, I do it even after 20+ years. Get up to fast and I am going to fall down, I know this. Try to put icy underwear on standing up and I am going to fall over. My balance really is not very good. I do not need drugs I need to pay attention to what I am doing. I know there are things that I can not do, I know there are things that I should not do.
I like “YOU” have to pay attention to what I am doing and how I am doing it. I have to learn myself and pay attention to what I am doing. We are not incapable, or helpless. We need to learn our limitations. Then exceed them because we want to. Never except that some skill is gone forever, just accept that “YOU” have to find a new way to do it, if it is important enough for “YOU” to make the effort. Sometimes some thing just are not and that is okay.
Watch what “YOU” are doing. Learn the side effects of your actions and think long and hard about a better way to do what “YOU” have to do. “YOU” did not get sick overnight do not expect to solve every problem that “YOU” face n a week. Give yourself time, be methodical and be tenacious. We all have this illness until we pass in many years time. “YOU” can not solve RRms in a week.
