Okay this is an opinion post. I do not like posts that claim a cure is however many years away. I feel this gives false hope to newbies(newly diagnosed) and even to the rest of us. How can something be cured if nobody knows what started it in the first place. I am not upset or angry if you post cured, but I might say please make the comment with a large caveat first, for everyones sake. We are here to support, not get everyones hopes up just to drop them.
again I am not attacking anybody, just saying think twice before you post something that might really upset an unstable person.

Hope, a feeling of expectation and a desire for a particular thing to happen. Hope is an optimistic state of mind, which we all need to have with ms, we should expect with confidence that a cure to ms will happen in our life time. Blessings Jimeka
realistic HOPE I agree, it just has to be tempered with some realism and an understanding that these things are many years in the future. I was told about a tablet when I was first diagnosed. They did not tell me that any Tablet was ten plus years of needles away. Hope is Great, just re aware that your timeframe is different to others.
i know the feeling but ha there is going to hopefully be a wonderful person that figures it all out and there isn't anything with the wishes of all of us but i agree with you also ..it is a dream now but it is a great big one ...take care and laugh along with this great ideas in our lives...love and happiness in this so sad of a world for so many that are not feeling very right now and needs something happy in their lives..yes it is just a dream but ha we all can dream ...
Don't worry too much Royce - after a person's been diagnosed for a couple of years (often even less) they very quickly work out that headlines raving about how "A cure is nigh" are just BS or click-bait - depending on the mode of communication used..............
