My hair is thinning...dramatically. My doctor said it isn't Tysabri and may be stress.

I was on Tysabri for over six years with no hair loss. Maybe other stress? Take care. Kelly

I have never been on tysabri, but it really could be so many other things, that is the thing about ms.,so many symptoms mimic other things, but stress can cause sooo many things.I am always looking for reasons, example. is it stress, menopause, does my back really hurt?maybe thyroid, just GUESSING.

I know I wonder too...but with menopause and age it seems to be different ...its like a double whammy!

Never been on Tysabri, but if I had to guess, it's candida.

I was at my derm appointment a couple weeks ago and mentioned I was losing more hair than usual. She asked about major stressors in the 2-4 month period prior. She said stress is the biggest cause of hair loss. My thyroid levels have always been fine so knew it wasn't that. I started working on stress management and the hair loss is back to normal. She did say that normal hair loss is 100 strands each day.
