Hair Loss

I've had 2 half doses and my hair is coming out in wads. My scalp itches horribly. I went to the Dermatologist to see if there was a skin problem -- or even cooties. 🤔 Nope, neither. I've always been told that I have pretty, naturally curly hair. It is thinning too. Is there anything on the market that I can use to stop the itching? And, is there anything I can use to stop the hair loss? I was on Avonex for 12 years and never had any trouble.

Are you on Ocrevus? Sorry that this is happening to you, a couple of people have experienced hair loss with Ocrevus. 😊

Have you changed or added any medications lately? Any significant dietary changes? Has your thyroid been checked? It sounds like something to report to your doctor.

I have to say that I use selsun blue once a month for the itching. 😊 It was driving me crazy! 😭 bshiggins 🤗💕🌠

I have been taking biotin supplement and using biotin shampoo. My hair is still falling out and thinning but i feel it would be worse if i did not do anything

I agree,selsun blue/My back was itching from amantadine they took me off med but selsun blue scrubbing my back, what a relief

I’ve found that vitamins for hair and nails work well. Also I use a detangler and. Pur a Dor hair thinning shampoo, I get from amazon. While I seem to go thur periods of thinning, it grows back quicker when I do the above.

My hair thinned out terribly while I was on tecfedera. I have been on ovrevus for over a year with no obvous side effects except weight gain.

Walmart has a shampoo and conditioner that would help it's called Renpure orginal biotin & collagen both come in 32oz bottles
