I thank all in MyMSSA community for sharing your stories and experiences to inspire, inform and edify.

My MS has been the most stable this fall/winter with your prayers and honest & beautiful sharing.

My total knee replacement and recovery is going quite well according to my surgeon so far. It has been only 3 1/2 months. A terrific gift. Even on my off-days with my MS, my walking, standing and bending has greatly improve. There are difficult days with spasms, pain and fatigue, but there is so much hope. I can deal a little better and smoother with growing old with MS. I have outstanding physician team, in particular my neurologist and physical and rehab medicine specialist. My PT team at Kessler Rehabilative Center (satellites from main institution) has been receptive to my MS symptoms in my recovery process. I enjoy their communication and encouragement as well as

For those who responded to my post regarding Ocrevus and knee replacements, thank you for addressing my concerns and honesty about pain. It is a privilege to share and be part of this community. I hope I have contributed in a respectful, caring and meaningful way to others. I love the humor, your beautiful stories, even from those afar in other countries. My personal family is supportive and encouraging. Even my sons sending me videos/music/talking to me. An unbelievable pastor and psychologist. Sometimes I thought they unreasonably expected that I could do more. I just learned to do activities in different ways, and some times let to go the old and embrace the new. I thank all the folks and nice Uber/Lyft drivers that transport me to PT, Bible study, or just stop by for tea and conversation. I am so humbly grateful. I am glad I found my My MSSA and My MS Gym.

I a healthier year! Be positive. Cherish, and make the best of the opportunities that come your way. You all are so important to me. And have enriched my life.

Happy holidays! To a wonderful, diverse, loving community. I am sadden when new folks are diagnosed with this disease but it can be worse and you have many MSers that really care about you.

With sincere love,

Tonyia
