So, today is my daughter’s first surgery and hopefully it will be the only one needed. She is being very upbeat about everything and I believe it will serve her well. I have felt a bit like it has been raining on me lately, not a full fledged storm, just rain. My dog has had two surgeries, Emily was diagnosed, and last week I got Covid. I was very sick for this one. I have had it a few times, but it really hit me hard. I’m feeling better now and, of course, I have not been contagious for a while. I’m planning to go up to see my daughter on Monday. That’s the soonest I can get there. I’m attaching a picture of her. As you can see, she is a very beautiful woman, she is in great shape and very active. It’s just shocking when something happens to someone you never expect to be sick! But we just never know.
I hope you are all enjoying the tail end of summer. It’s already getting cooler here at night, which is wonderful. Love to all, Kelly

Hi Kelly, Your daughter has been in my prayers, and you as well. Her positive outlook will serve her well, and it’s great that she has a devoted mom in you! I hope the surgery went well and her recovery is speedy. You have certainly had a lot to deal with lately. Take care and keep us posted when you have time!
