I was supposed to start Mavenclad last week but because of a problem with 1 of the tests I had to have done it has been put off I thought by now I could tell everyone how my first round of meds was doing. I will up date you when I get done with more testing. I see another doctor December 5th and will know more of what is going on after that

I’m sad to hear about your problem with the testing, but I hope it’s nothing that will put your new med off much longer. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

I was thinking that just want to stay off meds and just treat my symptoms. I'm 62 and I have been feeling normal to a point since I stopped meds

My neurologist suggested this drug as an option to treat my secondary progressive MS. I ‘m trying to decide if I should pursue taking it. Good luck to you as you and your doctor as you gather test results.

Good luck to you on making this decision. I am still not sure if I want to be on meds. But my doctor feels I need to take something or I could have major problems.

You are the first person that I can recall starting mavenclad. It’s relatively new isn’t it? I hope if you do decide to have it, that it works and stops your progression. Praying that you can make the best decision for yourself, Blessings Jimeka 🙏

It was just approved by the FDA in March of this year. I don't know any one that is taking it and I am not sure about it myself. I might not be able to take it because of the problem with my mamagram. I see a surgeon on December 5th to maybe have a byopsy. Thank you for your prayers. I will update when I know more
