A few weeks ago I asked for guidance on whether I should change docs and meds. The doc I was seeing is brilliant but his bedside manner is lacking. His laymen terms is way over the average laymen. He felt I needed a med change b/c my EDSS score is increasing but wanted me to go on a med that I was uncomfortable with. I went in search of other MS neurologist opinions and really clicked with the third doc who is much younger than my doc. Well, I changed docs and had my first half dose of Ocrevus yesterday. It went pretty well. Hopefully Ocrevus will stop the progression. Tysabri did for a while. I want to thank everyone who chimed in and told me that change can be good! I’m always uncomfortable changing doctors b/c of the awkwardness of it (and it was awkward). Looking favorably towards a brighter future for all of us!!!

You do what your Dr and you feels right , make sure your MRI shows what works best for you.
Juleigh21, Good for you! Change is hard, but sometimes for the better!

good luck to you
So glad this new Dr. Is working out !! And happy that O is underway.
The awkward is over and now you can look forward. Better to have a few moments to be uncomfortable then put it behind you and have someone who you can communicate with better!
So happy for you. Glad the doctor and rx change is working out for you. Keep us updated!
