With this arctic blast, it is pretty cold here in MI today (19 feels like 9 right now). Yesterday, we received 8" of HEAVY snow with rain. I shoveled the first round of ours and the neighbor's sidewalks. The 2nd time, I could only do ours as it was tiring. I got my brother in law to finish it My stepsis did the 3rd round. Today, it's just COLD. My dog didn't even want to be outside long...she pee'd, sniffed around and said 'screw it' and came back in the house lol Don't blame her
Stay warm everyone.

One of the last times I had to shovel snow in Wisconsin I had just finished clearing the drive way when the plow came through! Driver said he was sorry but had no choice. 3 feet of plowed snow to clear again!π€π€π€ I was venting to a friend of mine who was living in Texas at the time. He mail ordered me a snow blower that was delivered to my front porch with a card attached saying happy birthday. My birthday was a couple of days later.π It was well used for the next 2 years before the Army moved me to Fort Knox. Only saw an ice storm that shut down most of the state along with 2 or 3 parts of neighboring states. Here in South Carolina we might get freezing temps and it's currently raining. Which means the roads in the morning will be ice skating rinks until it warms up. They don't have plows or salt trucks here. Should be fun in the morning. π
It's a relatively warm 20 here in Virginia this morning. My dogs went out, came right back in, ate breakfast and went back to bed (one of them in the middle of what I persist in telling her is MY bed). It is nippy. I am not looking forward to tending the chickens when it gets light. Stay bundled up! If you can avoid it, let others shovel the snow. You don't need to slip and fall.
