Today is cold in Philly, and not because the Eagles lost the game yesterday -just cold. Many headaches too as I just found out my pharmacy doesn't want to cover Copaxone and removed it from a Tier 2 -5 Category giving me an outrageous patient co - pay! The BATTLE IS ON as well as Shared Solutions.

My doctor has to write another Medical Necessity and the Relentless forms....but won't God "do it" every time, we need ( I ) more faith - not the frustration!

I believe it is. The outcome is Copaxone (my med) is so freaking expensive; the insurances don't want to pay. But I can't take anything else not even the generic!!!! So sad we have to FIGHT for our lives, especially if you have been successful on ONE Type of treatment or like me may have secondary issues.
Get our voices heard to our local lawmakers who care about Healthcare and become a reunited front!

I'm struggling a bit with the change to a new insurance company and getting pre-approval, getting the prescription called to the right pharmacy, etc. We have wonderful healthcare in this country, but I sure wish we could work out the bugs. Of course, we'd still have to deal with doctor's offices dropping the ball.
I know, my doctor's office is filling out the special form, (right now) Brand Medical Require/No Generic. Then I have to wait for Specialty Division of my Pharmacy to receive review and approval which I'm certain as they stated they will to process my medication until next year this and I'll have to go through this ALL over again. At least the Lemonade is getting sweeter - Thank God.
Went to my volunteer program today to take my mind off me and focus and others, I always feel better.

My lemonade is getting sour and my Angels need help!!!!!! News Flash of the day. My doctor did his best, but this stronghold is the Medicare pharmacy division nonsense that is totally unjust! They just totally remove life sustaining medications, then charge a $3,500 deductible if you really want it????? SERIOUSLY???? I probably will have to go on a new medication regimen; I see my Neuro next week. We once talked about REBIF I will research it- please share any knowledge as well. Always Welcomed.

Sorry you’re having a hard time with Copaxone. Now that I think about it I did have pretty bad headaches while on Copaxone. I am currently on Ocrevus which I love. I was on migraine medication while I took Copaxone. I never thought it was due to Copaxone until I read your post. I’ve been off a month and no migraines not even caffeine ones. Are you taking anything for the headaches? Maybe you should mention it to Shared Solutions. They stopped calling me as soon as my pharmacy changed from Copaxone to the generic to save money, save medication just not brand 🤦🏾♀️
Wow, I was speaking literally about the "headaches" of the bureaucracy of fighting for what we need to survive in our MS journey; BUT Guess WHAT????? I've been on Topiramate for migraines for years - and bad one too!

Hey Sis, I'll be researching Ocrevus and talking with my doc. This battle with Copaxone and telling me I have to meet a deductible now because we're in a new year (NO Longer A Tier) and the deductible is almost a mortgage down payment ($3,500). Seriously
