New Symptoms

Hi everybody. Fell and broke my hip about 6 weeks ago and ever since I have new symptoms. My mouth quivers constantly and it's hard to talk. Have a problem forming words and I lisp too. Find myself Just not talking. Went to a speech therapist and he gave me some exercises that I hate. Would this be considered a relapse? Would steroids help? Just wondering if anyone here has experienced this. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I would certainly call my neurologist to alert him/her with these changes. Please keep us posted.

Def tell ur neuro. Cuz pain such as a broken hip cud very well cause a flare. Pain always makes existing symptoms worse for me. So if ur having new symptoms - cud be a relapse.

Please call ur doc rite away.

Sorry about your fall and the hip. Are you on any medication for the hip? Have you had surgery? I am not a doctor but these could easily cause your symptoms.

If you're on as little as Advil, this could cause your symptoms.

Speedy recovery! Sometimes stress and pain can bring on new symptoms . Give your neuro a call. Make sure to tell your physical therapist that you have MS so they can adjust your therapy. Feel better soon

Not sure but seems like u could use the steroids. My point being is is it has been exasperated then yes they will help and the fall could probably benefit from the trauma to the impact region. Only suggesting but maybe.
