Hello everyone!!

I have a few crazy symptoms going on and was wondering if anyone else has them.

I could be just standing up and it feels like something or someone hit me in the head with a baseball bat. The very 1st time this happened I was taking a nap and accused my husband (he would never do that but I accused him of doing it)

My right arm can’t tell temperature of water or anything. That usually lasts a few days.

I get so dizzy that it makes me nauseous.

does this happen to anyone else besides me?

Thanks for listening 😊

Sounds scary. Get checked out by your doctor.

I've had bad dizzy spells in the past. The most terrifying was a head rush while laying in bed. I screamed for my kids to hold me down because I was convinced I was going to fall and had no idea which way was up.

I haven't experienced the baseball bat, but before I was diagnosed I gave up riding motorcycles because the vibration would make me feel like my brain was rattling around in my head. It was like the brain was literally bouncing back and forth. I wound up with the worst headaches of my life, and I've had plenty of migraines that never came close to that.

All things considered, these could be MS problems, but if you're suddenly getting them all now and on a recurrent basis it's possible you might have some kind of inner ear infection. Have you discussed any of it with a doctor?

all these crazy symptoms as I call them has been happening and my Neurologist knows about them. I was just wondering if anyone else had any of these symptoms.

I also have optic neuritis in my right eye. I’m hoping my ophthalmologist will give me a new script because it’s been like 2 years since I’ve gotten new glasses and my left eyesight is declining. I see 2 different eye doctors and they both are telling me to wait but I need to see now.

Sorry for the vent.

Hi - I had that happen to me when I was in law school many moons ago. They did an EKG on my brain but it was normal. I also wasn't eating right, so I do wonder if a lack of a particular vitamin may have contributed to this feeling. The doctor chalked it up to law school stress. Many moons later I now have strange neurological symptoms I'm getting checked out. Please do see a medical doctor to get checked out as soon as you can!

The "getting so dizzy it makes me nauseous" definitely sounds like vertigo. I've had this on and off since my diagnosis. It was difficult for me to walk to a train station in 2015 just to see my neuro, for him to then diagnose me with clinically definite MS, rather than clinically isolated. I've had vertigo every few years, and my last one only affected me for about a week.

I have vertigo. I describe 2 different types I had. One was when it felt like I was spinning around slowly and the other would be sudden and severe where the world was spinning in all directions around me. I had the epley maneuver done by a physical therapist that cleared up vertigo when I changed positions. I take 300mg of Gabapentin at bedtime and it pretty much prevents the other. I will occasionally have the sensation it is going to start but it only lasts a few seconds.

I also have to have the water temp quite warm when I shower otherwise it feels cold. Temperature sense and loss of touch sensation were present when I was diagnosed, the vertigo came later.

I have the same issue of numbness with my left leg. I can't feel water temps when I get into the shower but when I go to bed at night, anything touching my leg feels like firery pins and needles. If I wake up to use the bathroom at night, when I get back to bed I have to wait until my leg calms down before falling back to sleep. I've had this problem for about 13 years now but they keep telling me it's a trapped nerve. πŸ™„

Luckily I haven't had anyone hitting me in the middle of the night though. Not yet at least.

I started having migraines about 9 months ago with dizziness and have been doing Botox injections every 3 months and things are improving slowly 🀞🏼. Good luck and hopefully you get it figured out πŸ™πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜‰
