Scared, terrified, bewildered. It is okay. Find your adjective. I guess it is a matter of choice. How do "YOU" describe how "YOU" feel? It changes over our many years with our condition. Relapsing-Remitting ms (RRms). It may get worse or merely go on and on. Twenty plus years so far, with many more years t more to come. Yes, it will go on and on, and it will not end until I do, or "YOU" do in your case.
RRms is a very long condition that we have, accept this. Putting away the fear and knowing that nor nice things might and will happen eases the uncertainty a little. I have an idea of how my RRms works, what causes it to flare and how to calm it a little. It is a learning experience. Nobody can tell you exactly what is going to happen or when. Steel yourself for any adversity and do what needs to be done to minimize those events. Our lives with RRms do not have to be continually difficult. It does go downhill, but "YOU" want to make it a gentle walk not a plunge over a cliff onto jagged rocks below.
There is Disease-Modifying Therapy that "YOU" can take, exercises that "YOU" can do, tools that will help "YOU" physically, resources that will boost your mental strength. "YOU" are very far from alone in this journey. Look around "YOU" and make use of the resources that exist today. Be wary, there are snake oil salesman that will promise "YOU" the world and give "YOU" nothing but heartache. I like Dr Aaron Boster of the Ohio ms Clinic on YouTube. The msGym on facebook, Health Unlocked are all great sites, of course, msAA and then maybe the ms Society(Not one of my favourites but that is just me) There are sensible trustworthy and honest sites. Use them and educate yourself.
There are charlatans and pitfalls, but be careful, it is possible to avoid them. Keep a smile on your face, accept the good with the bad. We all will have many years living with RRms, make your as happy as "YOU" can. At Eighty years of age make your regrets really silly and inconsequential, in the story of yo0ur life. Regrets are for lesser people, certainly not "YOU".

not sure what I regret I might think about it, or not
