Your daily legal Notice. I am not a medical professional of any sort, nor do I play one on television. What I say is based on my twenty plus years of experience with this disease, and Sho Who Must Be Obeyed's twenty-three plus years of having Relapsing-Remitting ms (RRms) Yes I am a male, let us get that clear straight up. I am a foreigner as well, so I have another national perspective.

I make mistakes, and I am far from perfect as I am told, and that I can be times quite cantankerous, blunt and even rude not to mention crude. That being said, I do try hard to be honest to the best of my ability. I can also be wrong, yes, wrong. If ever I say something that "YOU" do not think or feel is correct prove me wrong. Whenever anybody tells "YOU" anything during your very long ms life journey, assume they are wrong. Prove to yourself that they are, or that they are not. There are a lot of opinions and feelings in this disease and far fewer facts. Get the basic facts right then use your own feelings as to what is best for "YOU", I most certainly can not tell "YOU" what is best in your situation. I will give "YOU an opinion, start on the strongest Disease-Modifying Therapy(DMT) as soon as "YOU" can. Start, change if "YOU" have to but never stop. Okay "YOU" can stop when "YOU" are dead. I do not think they will help much then anyway. I believe they all have some type of side effect, expect this. The three that I have taken all had side effects. Some worse than others but they were there. This, is a serious, lifelong, incurable, chronic, and progressive, condition, and it takes serious medicine. "YOU" my sister or brother are sick. We are not going to get better, and we will not be cured. In this lifetime anyway.

Having said that and scared "YOU" lots, let us try to be a little more positive. My first medicine did not like me that much. My second medicine truly hated me, and my third so far actually likes me, I think. Just because one and two had issues with me did not stop me taking them. I looked around for one that eventually helped and did not try to hurt me. I never stopped, just because I had headaches, pain and hated needles was never a reason ever to stop. Have "YOU" seen those older people at ms functions in wheelchairs that can not function. They had nothing in their days, that is how "YOU" will be if "YOU" do nothing or leave it to late to start. As always your choice, it is always your choice.

I have said this, and I believe this to be true and accurate. Do not believe me. Get an ms magazine from twenty-five years ago and look at the front cover, compare it to an issue from today. Different is it not? They did not have DMT back then, but we do now. So, what are "YOU" going to do? Do not be scared; this is a big illness. It takes a big woman or man to live and thrive with it. Be careful, do your research wear your protective underwear and start walking your ms life journey. A tip, look at Dr Aaron boster MD on youTube.

Royce ( the ms writer)

I believe you can live good, how good is up to you. Believe that I am telling the truth about this, no lie

Royce, be part of the solution and not the problem. Thank you for this reminder. I am also on my third DMT. My first DMT, Copaxone, left me with serious indentations in my arms and legs. The second DMT, Tecfidera, left me in such a funk, and now with Ocrevus, I feel that I have finally found the perfect one for me! :-D

i agree with you we all are adults here well maybe not all ..hahahhaha....anyway it is our own reasons for doing anything so yes we can try or not and so far it has been to my opinion that we can or can't what we want ...i too tried the shots of two meds and didn't work for me either but didn't stop till i had a new med ...but there are some that have had great results for many years ...not me so went on to a pill form but again didn't work so went back on shots till i went on Ocrevus ...oh so much better and have had improvements ....just like you had said our decision to do or not to ...take care of your self don't worry what others are doing do what is best for you ...just laugh and smile as much as you can really helps ...
