First cranosacrial therapy session

Had it last Saturday - done by my yoga teacher who is changing career to become a PT and also cranosacrial therapist. Because of yoga, she already knows my body well.

I'm not sure anything happened, other than getting another form of therapy that, like massage, brings some level of awareness and connection between your brain (neurons) and your body (muscles and sensation). This, for me, is helpful.

I slept like a baby that night but not sure whether it's related.

I'll probably keep trying it. First, because I'm curious about it and second, as I can talk with her about meditation and other inside-focus brain exercises that help me calm down my nervous system.

What’s it like? My nephew had due to face numbness/pain from his chiro. Don’t know how it went but he said he still has symptoms

It was light touch on specific spots in my body. Not invasive at all, quite the opposite.

My left leg is very sensitive and can jerk sometimes when brushed against something. So it was interested that in this case, it did not move at all.

I'm not looking for any miracle really. Just another path to keep my brain and body connected and keep my nervous system quiet - i.e. stay in touch with my body.
