I wanted to share with you how important yoga has become to me. It's not a religion or anything. It just makes me feel great when i do it. I'm learning to accept that my body doesn't do everything that it used to. Anyway 2 things: 1. my yoga teacher is putting together a zoom MS yoga adapted class if enough people are interested (she needs 3 to start one). the cost would be $15 and the day and time are to be determined. She is really wonderful and will work on whatever the class brings up, ie balance, arms, etc.
2. i came across this other zoom yoga class in my email and thought i would share it with you in case you're interested. yogahealsus.com/online-live...
If you come across any interesting (low cost or free) activities that might be fun or healthy or both, please share with the group or send me a private message.
thanks,

also available $0 OMS Yoga and YogaMoves MS on zoom. I do the Monday OMS routinely—moderately challenging. The Sunday afternoon OMS class is chair based. Yoga Moves has 1-2 classes most days.
The Dream Center and MS Focus also have free zoom adaptive yoga classes for MS.
Thank you, and I am so glad you are enjoying them. I love Yoga and I may try some of the MS adaptive yoga classes. The last class I took was a classrom yoga, no adaptations, and with any of the standing, semi-upright positions, I fell forward. I tried to continue, doing the positions that would not challenge my balance issues, ...D ownward Dog is OUT!
No, but this was a regular (standard?) yoga class. I was the only MS person, the only Handicapped ( instructors term for me) in the class. Made me determined NOT to leave the class. I don't think this instructor knew anything but the standard moves.
