Summer Vacation

So, not a secret that summer is rough with MS. Just curious if anyone has a summer vacation spot that is MS Friendly?

Other than my apartment? Ha-ha!! As this was my 1st summer, after my DMT and I was beginning to feel so good! Then slight humidity creeped into Los Angeles and BAM! All those warnings I was previously told came to be proven.

Yep. Went through same thing last year. I thought “how bad could it be?” Then, I found out. I know everyone is different but humidity does a number on me.

It's strange how the weather affects our MS; too cold, and we tighten up with spasms, or too hot, and we melt into slugs. We finally went to coast this summer to escape the heat, but the higher humidity and chilly breezes were a little tough on walking. There aren't many places where we can control the heat, cold, humidity, barometric pressure, etc.! But perhaps we can choose places with temperatures that are more moderate and don't change too quickly. Being prepared with warmer or cooler clothing, cooling vests, and those types of things may be a good idea so that we can enjoy wherever we go.

Well said.

Humid = just want to crash.

Cold = feel like I was in a crash.

Maybe San Diego? Low humidity/Moderate Temps? Never been.

Have fun! One site encouraged travelers to go during the best time - May through August, but I'm sure other times are great, too.

I have always had a great time in Puerto Vallarta Mexico 👍. It’s at 80 degrees with a breeze by the ocean, little humidity and cool evening ☺️ Just can’t afford it anymore but sure was fun and fabulous food 🥘. 👍🙏😉 Ken 🐾🐾
