If I have to scoot around most of the summer on my scooter, I plan to scoot around and show my own style! I do it for most of the seasons. I have a turkey for Thanksgiving, a Santa for Christmas, A Snowman for the rest of the winter and new in my collection this summer is my Flamingo for summer! So let's get wacky and think of fun ways we can make people understand that we might be disabled but we have fun and make the most out of life despite our disabilities. This Flamingo will hang on the back arm rest of my scooter! I get lots of laughs all season long from my other kritters and I'm sure I will do the same with this wonderful summer fun scooter accent. Let's share our sense of humor with one another!
Oh and Jes, I'm smiling at you!πππ Fancy! LOL!

Fancy1959 what a wonderful way to celebrate each season and have fun for yourself and others! I will try to think π€ of something fun for me to do. Iβm thinking something I can Velcro onto my cane.. Sounds like a trip to the Dollar store. They always have fun stuff!π
CalfeeChick, it's Fancy1959. A quick and easy way to do these is to go to your local department store and find these little wine wraps! They are designed to go around the neck of a wine bottle that you might get for a gift. I discovered them last fall and I've picked up several like I mentioned. They can range anywhere from three or four dollars to 8 or 9 depending on if they're on sale or not. But they sure are easy to wrap around things and they stay put considered time to wrap around the neck of a wine bottle. I got two of mine at my local Kohl's department store but I'm sure there are no other department stores as well! You can find them even cheaper on the internet if you Google them or go to one of your favorite internet sites. I got the rest of mine off the internet and they were cheap there. So Google all you want and see what you can come up! They're just seriously fun!
That is adorable Fancy1959 π I lov it! It' always fun to make someone smile!

Just because we need to use these things, does not mean we can not make them our own! Use them with pride! They Help You! π€π Linda! And everyone!
Amen Jes! Like I said we need to show everyone just because we are disabled does not mean we can't enjoy our life and have fun being part of everything! We might have to alter how we do things but the point is we can still do them! And we can do them in our own style, independently, and with a smile on our face!
Just go online if you have problems getting out j and type in wine bottle holders in up they'll pop. Then you can have them delivered right to your doorstep. That's where I got my Christmas ones Santa and the snowman. After I send this reply to you I'll jump out of the chat room and make sure that is the correct wording to bring them up. If I don't get back to you it's a done deal that's how you do it!
Lgrahams78108, it's Fancy1959 back. Well I just learned how to make hummingbird feeders out of wine bottles bird feeders out of wine bottles tiki torches out of wine bottles but did not have much success in finding any wraps for the wine bottles. I got mine at Kohl's department store back in the kitchen and plate area. I got on kohls.com and I did try to type in wine bottle decorations and I did find one that was available at my Kohl's locally. It was the cute little dog that wrapped around the wine bottle with a flag scarf on it. So that's the only luck I had. I don't know if it's all season or what but I was able to find more last time I looked. Just be persistent and keep typing in different variations of wine bottle wraps or wine bottle decorations or wine bottle animal wraps whatever you can think of. Good luck but I know you can at least find the cute little dog on kohls.com if you type in wine bottle decorations. I hope that helps! Fancy.
