There is pain in ms

I am still not a medical professional but I will tell “YOU” something that they should have tpld “YOU”. Be “YOU” a newly diagnosed person (Newbie) or an old timer like me. There is pain in this illness and lots of it. That pain comes in all forms not just physical, Emotional and ghost (Lack of a better word)that is pain that just happens. Nerve itching and weirdness like that.

Having got your nerve poster from Amazon “YOU” can trace where the nerve pain is, where it shows were it originates. In your best Sherlock Holmes mode searching for clues “YOU” can work out where to cool what to be concerned about. Study your body intently. Do not make your first move to ask for medicines, or increase the dosage of the ones “YOU” already have. I have made that mistake. Cool yourself down. cool the blood flow around your body. Heat may not be your best friend, find ways to minimise it this may help. Search where the pain is, follow the nerves. Cool the area, cool the largest nerves. I can not stress it enough. There IS pain and sometimes lots of it. It takes “YOU” right to the very edge, but “YOU” must be strong. Never let go, bear it for the next thirty second, the next minute the next hour. But first that next ten seconds. It may never be that horrible, and I hope it is not, but if it is ten more seconds.

The answer is sometimes not in drugs, legal or not. The answer is at times within “YOU”. :earn your body, learn techniques for coping. I personally like stories and think of blokes (people) in wars, and feel that if they can, I CAN as well. There was nothing special about them, I could have been them once. If they can cope then why can’t I, why can’t “YOU”? This as I have said is a very DOABLE illness, it just takes a decision to DO IT. Make that decision for yourself. YES it hurts, it is confusing it is lonely it is lifelong. These are things that we all have to come to terms with, Moments, weeks, of anger self doubt are okay. Do not let it become a lifestyle Always find away through that next ten seconds, then the next. Ten seconds is not that long, I can hold my breath that long, Ten seconds is nothing then repeat, and keep repeating.

There is pain in ms, but I am pretty sure that ten second is very doable for “YOU”, do “YOU think “YOU might agree?
