“YOU” have ms, but there is absolutely no law anywhere that says “YOU” have to be anything but yourself. It is allowed for “YOU” to be a gang-ho take no prisoners warrior, a laid back laggard or a careful methodical discerning manager. This is your condition, “YOU” and only “YOU” make the rules. Remember at three am the only person that has to be calmed is “YOU”, The only person who has your fears and feels your pain is “YOU” I understand that this can be selfish but it is not up to “YOU” to adapt and modify yourself to accomodate others. Remembering that “YOU” have many many years to live, your life and in your head. Do not force away those who want to understand. Perhaps do shun those negative energies around “YOU”. “YOU” know of who I speak. This is your condition. Yours and nobody else’s. Your fears and apprehension. Own them and accept them. Do not be scared over the creaking under the bed, get a torch (Flashlight) shine it down there and face those fears. The uncertainty about your ms starts to wither if “YOU” know your illness and confront its uncertainties head on.
I say often having a good strong knowledge of what may lay ahead of “YOU” is a great defence. Try not to live your life through others fears and expectations. “YOU” my sister\brother are “YOU” and without a doubt “YOU” are smart enough strong enough and determined enough to beat this illness into something that “YOU” can handle. Live your expectations of yourself, not my expectations or somebody else’s. “YOURS” What I say is no more than one possible option for “YOU”, there are others. Follow that of which “YOU” are most comfortable and happy with.
