I refuse to accept anything that society says of me. Today I am not disabled, I am not ever less than any other Homo Sapien. I am different;
ly abled. In ways that I do not always understand but I accept that. I am me and that I will always be. I am not anything other than me, and I am good, very good. The world and others can accept me for what I am, and if I choose to be anything, that is my choice, my path to walk. I will ask nothing that I am not willing to give. If I am unable to meet your needs or expectations, I am sorry, but they are your needs and expectations, not mine. I travel my own path, my journey. I wish you all the best of luck on yours, but I have my own journey.
Walk your path in this, your ms life. Do not be a victim of anybody elses expectations and dreams. Live your life to your fullest. Achieve what you want to achieve. If you can not, then you my friend have to answer to you, not anybody else. Never anybody else, just to yourself.
This is a long and challenging road we are on. Not everybody is strong enough to travel it, but we are. Give yourself some time to adjust to your new normal. ,Accept that it is constantly changing no matter what you may or may not do. This path is not impossible, you are challenged, but you my friend are up to the challenge. Cry when you need to, but believe in yourself. Millions can not do it but you most certainly can. You are strong enough, strong enough for anything that Relapsing Remitting ms (RRms) may hurl at you.
Make this a life of strength, not weakness. Believe that you always can.
