Ever since I told my family about my disease they have been hovering me. My teens won't let me clean after a small fall. I told them that we had an invisible ghost that follows me around and that is why I fall sometimes. They don't believe me lol. My husband won't let me cook because I accidentally spilled boiling water on my foot good thing for neuropathy no pain. I told him I thought they might want a taste. Now since my family won't let me do anything, I drive my teens crazy. I suggest doing it it is a lot of fun lol.

The best excuse ever!! What? I have MS! 🤣 Hi mbrooks20 welcome to the nut House! Way to go on using MS for you! Cause let's face it we all do it sometimes! 😂 🤗💕

They care! Your loss of independence isn’t fair!
In my case I don’t have kids to fret over me or a husband home enough to keep tab on me. End of last year was my falling down the stairs phase. Thankfully, like you, neuropathy took over & saved the day. It did freak my hubby out- he was in the base working out before heading to work. I was just laying down on the floor. I didn’t even tumble down carpeted stairs, I flipped over the edge to the floor. What gives? Every time I ended up in the same spot!
Because it’s just the 2 of us & he works a second job to support us, he’ll take any help at home that I can give him. I’m happy to that when I can. (But I can’t cook-he’s thankful when I don’t believe me!)
He’s the breadwinner, does the laundry, the cook, vacuums, & helps me change the bedding 😁 He’s the man of my dreams. (Second hubby too! He married me knowing I had MS! although at the time you couldn’t tell)
Your husband seems to know what pearl he has & wants to keep you taken care of in your oyster 😁
I’m happy you have such a great support team!
I know it can drive some of us crazy to be hovered over, but I'm so glad you have an amazing support team who are willing to watch out for you. When they hover too much, please send them to my house for a while.
Enjoy! My family acts like nothing is wrong at all! I'd rather too much caring than not enough or none.
